This is going to sound a bit stupid, but where is the airbox? Where the filter is above the engine? How hard is it to remove?

porkiepie, I actually wanted to get out and clarify but I thought that might get me in trouble! I think what made it worse was the exhaust is blowing so I probably sounded like a boy racer!

Mine was the spring. Pulled it off which stopped the rattle. Getting a new one from Nissan to fit. Hardest bit is getting the bloody heatguard off!

Cheers. Had a quick look though and the lambda sensor is definitely connected (green end rather than grey). I've tried seeing where it could possibly connect to by pulling it tight and moving it to possible locations. Doesn't seem to connect anywhere. Got a Hayne's manual on the way so it...

Any idea what it's for? It doesn't seem to fit anywhere. It seems to be related to the horn cable but the horn is connected and it definitely honks! (sorry about the size!)

Ah cheers. I was thinking people were meaning to bend the bit that the spring hooks onto! So it's the ends of the springs that snap then? Going to get it up on the ramps for a look. I'm sure I can hear it rattling under there.

Just bought a Micra and seem to have the same issue. Presuming the spring is snapped, where do I buy another one?
