Also replaced the air filter with and almera one sourced from a local scrappie (and some paint) I didn't like just not having the breather disconnected so I bought a small filter. After a long talk with the almera air box i convinced it to coexist with the breather filter. Perfect fit :)...

So much has happened since I last posted. My confortable, warm, 2016 family car was parked for a month while I daily the Micra! AC compressor makes no noise and the brakes need to be replaced, otherwise a great little package. The car was tall and ugly so i wanted to do something about it...

I'd advise greatly against using that airdryer. I used to have one in a mount to reflow graphics cards (I didnt have a hot air gun at the time) and after 10 minutes (maybe less) it caught fire. It started melting from the inside out

Might be a a bit clogged, the spring moved quite freely but I cleaned it nonetheless. I've ordered a new air filter and will check again if it was fixed! Thank you for your input Alex!

This is state my air filter is on. I dont know how old it is, but i'd say it has too much oil on it. I took the dipstick out when running and no smoke or oil came out. I didn't know if I should let the car heat up first so i did it cold... The oil level was ok. My educated guess would be...

Ever thought of doing an engine bay makeover? Hide the wires, move the fuse box and making it look clean? Btw, I bought a micra because of you on youtube. Been looking for micra info here a lot and after 6 months of research I finnaly pulled the trigger.
