Alternator light on means no charge, new alternator?

Is it possible to source these cheap or is it nissan only part?

Mines started making the starter noise, i've also heard a few Clios make the same sound. Damn if I wanted a Renault I would have bought one!

thats what I did, it works but my method is a bit redneck. Old light switch and the cable runs over the back seat...but it cost nothing

when u say misted it it condensation or has it just gone opaque? I've used rubbing compound with great success to clean my 54 plate lights.

Has dropped off my mothers K12 1.2. Is it needed? I'm just concerned it might melt the rad or something.

it's not bad, but I remember getting 50+ out of my old 1.0 AX. However, thats built like a fag packet! I've heard if it wasn't for cats you could get much better fuel economy, like the old lean burn engines...

does anyone know what temp the blue light should turn off, 80 degrees? It's just during the winter my heater output seemed a bit crap... wish it had a proper gauge.

My 54 plate 1.2S sometimes makes a short whirr from the starter on cold mornings, doesn't seem to be a problem but is the starter on the way out or just sticking? Also thinking of a coolant change. Have 5 litres of green Mazda supercoolant for my MX5, whould this be OK in nissans? I heard all...

it's an inverted tooth design, supposed to be quieter running. The problems occur with models up to 2006, faulty batch usually fails with poor oil....so regular changes may help. Later models should be OK, but who knows...
