had a 1.0 box mated to a 1.3 on my 95 before. But ended up cooking it, don't do many motorway miles so ratio don't really bother me. Just struggling to source a 1.3 box. so you saying the 1.0 from same year will fit the shafts?
No its dizzy, so no crank sensor been told the box on mine was only around from 98-2000 because of the sensor for the Speedo, just be really handy if the 1.0 is the same as 1.3 are like rocking horse poop
Sorry to hijack I have a 2000 plate micra on a 1.3 and the box has gone, from what your saying Frank I would be able to fit a 1.0 from the same year as the shafts are the same? Would save me a lot of hassel
Basically I'm looking for a new 1.3 box for my early 2000 plate si micra. Been told the one I need is from years between 98 and 2000, is this true or can I drop the later 1.0 box straight in as they are 10 a penny? If not anyone got a spare box I can buy? Thanks
Hi chaps, recently bought an si over the weekend and on the way down from Carlisle noticed a strange grinding noise coming from the near side. well after a few days off trying stuff I jacked it up at the front end and ran it and realised the near side wheel was only running at half speed...
Just going to be bits like dizzy, fuel pump, fuel rail and injectors, alternater, exhaust. Radiator, calipers, Basicly anything I can keep for spares.
Would you know if the rear lights are interchangeable as the one I'm looking at has a cracked one
No it's still dizzy, it's a 1.3 think the coil packs went on the 1.0 and 1.4 :/ it's just I heard that the Bosch ones are worse than the original and if they are not interchangeable it means I'll have to spare recon old ones. Cheers for reply
I've got a 95 micra and looking at getting a 2000 model I've seen, is everything interchangeable apart from the throttle body because of the different MAF sensor. Cheers tom
