Petrol smell in cockpit

Anyone know any simple / common reasons, eg blocked breater pipes, for a whiff of petrol in the cockpit of a K11??? Can't see any signs of a fuel leak in engine bay, or on the driveway etc. Anything else I should check?
Cheers,
Laura

if i were you i'd take out the back seats because the petrol tank is right underneath...

also look on the inside of the wheel arch and check the fuel pipe is ok...

i recon it will be the seal round the float that mesures how much petrol you have.. you'll see it right under the seats.

the seats are really easy to take out.

undo the screws on the back of the seats in the boot and just pull them out, they clip on at the front so you'll have to pull them hard..

good luck let us know how you get on :)

i had this prob.. i put on a new fuel filter and it was faulty and leaked......

smell of unleaded BIG style....

replaced and is now fine.....x
