K11 boot thingy?

Hi, I would like to remove the black handle on the boot door of my k11, if I do so, will it leave holes?how can I remove it?

I've attached a photo (not actually my car) the part I'm talking about is circled.

If you remove it you are also removing your number plate lights and yes, it will leave holes.
Better to fit the boot handle from a prefacelift k11, maybe even colour code it.

GX models on the facelift have colour co-ordinated bootlid plastic. Not sure if they're 'foamy' too.

What do you mean by 'foamy'?

I think he means how it is sort of rough. Like the standard black bumpers on cars, its a rough material that looks like foam

Nahh, if it's pre-painted, all you need to do is rough it up a little and start painting. If it black plastic, then you'd need to rub it down so it's smooth and then paint it. It's always easier if it's already painted.
