Hi i thought it was about time i showed everyone what i've been up to.

I bought the car 3 months ago via eaby. Managed to find the old build thread on here

As the car came.
Had a lovely 7 hour drive down to goodwick, And on the way back my dad decided to have a fight with a lorry. Car was ok tho

Got the body kit off aswell as alloys. Looks better already i thinks.

Dad made this bumper for his project but i think i'll have it now

Got some white threw on

Changed the mk4 golf headlights back to preface lift (need wiring up still)
had to put in the front skin for the lamps as it was completly missing.
Front bumer we had lying around, Looking for a super s atm.
Grill was made about a year ago still needs finishing.

Interior centre cupholder/ draw idea 1and 2 ?

Tyre sizes

Interior has been changed to the old super s rainbow seats, inc. matching plastics, door cards and door rubbers.

Changed the speedo for one with the rev counter (plug n play)

Gear knob and shortened shifter

Mirrors have been changed back to standard colour coded ones, (fitted door poper buttons all working now)

popper buttons

A little lower at the back ??? Swapped the rear strut rubbers around top on bottom and bottom on top

I don't think the white alloy looks that bad tbs I would of toyed with the idea of keeping them on. Depending on the size of them?

they are 195/45/16's

Good nab you were right to take them off then 16's a bit big I think. Least youl get good money for them

When i picked the car up he said he was on the forum before and had kristian do the bodykit both bought it and the fit.

Never is have to have 14's on her because of front brake discs.

has around 50mm off the back and 35 off front.

UPDATE:

got a new super s bumper and matching bonnet put on today oh and one wing .

Tried it with just the bumper (dont like)

so put standard one on

and took wings off

oh and she might have to be red now loving it

Update:
Just sorted ou my headlights wiring. (had to convert back to pre facelift from mk4 golf)

and sorted out my wiring for the reverse switch from my gearbox

little update:

The black robin has been collected, the beige one is now getting restored thanks to my dad finding an engine at the local scrappy,

Also i'v fitted a front splitter to the micra

polo 6n as skymera pointed out.

and just used the bolts from the polo to attach to micra no trimming at all fits class

no probz, the bolts are 10mm so take a socket set

quick question to you all should I put the standard doors back on ? or leave it smooth ?
