Hi all...new to the forum in Essex...quite used to forums like these as I own a Land Rover too so Im used to cars breaking on me lol
just a voice of experience needed please
We have a 1.2 k12 on 80k
I have read alot about chain stretching rough idle issues etc but as the car is possibly being sold im hoping that an expensive job isnt on the cards,
It has occasional starting issues (worse in cold) & intermittent rough idling hot or cold.
DTC's are
P0107 MAP SENSOR
P0113 IAT SENSOR
A MAP sensor ive acquired just now on fleabay however I cant for love nor money find an IAT sensor anywhere...anyone had this issue?
RE the MAP sensor fault, the chap who owned before us has gaffer taped up where the plastic inlet pipe meets the air filter housing...wondering if this could cause enough fluctuations in air pressure to cause the iffy readings & running
I should also mention its been running rough for a few weeks but only this morning has the MIL lamp come on
