Airbag code

Facelift 03.Airbag gone off.Diagnostics says safety belt pre tensioners which it does not have.Will not clear.
Does it store the information in the ECU or the airbag module.
Advice please..

did it have pretensioners to start with, im not a 100% but they could be situated in the b pillars. and they do have both past and present memories, which both have to be cleared
