1.3 1litre flat top internals

hi,
i have a 1.3 from a march g# , it is all seperated but block still contains flat top 1l pistons conrods etc.. i also have a polished/ported head,
what i want to know is
-how much can i skim off the head and block when they go away to be tested ?
-is there anything else that needs to be done to make this all work?

cheers

your C/R will be about 11.5:1 with the polished head then mate, i would limit the head and block skim to .5mm, and fit a 260 deg inlet cam preferably :)

cheers ive been onto autosprint about cams , what about exhaust cam ? is it right to have 1.3 cons with 1l caps?
the exh cam wont have any effect on the C/R, but fit one if you want :) and the rods are line-bored, so you should,nt mix bigend caps

grand, ill probably just order a new set of cams anyway. so change the 1l caps back to 1.3? i should be using the 1.3 crank yeah?

on opening the block, and checking a few things i have discovered:
-there is polished con rods
-conrod number- 20-0 44b-2
-caps ( i have two sets )48-0 3( i think 3 from pic i have) 28-0 2
- when i opened the new bottom end bearings there was only 9 and i removed 10? missing one with oil feed and centre groove? what should i do here?

my head and block are being sent away next week, is .5 definitly ok to skim off?
thanks
