My current p reg micra k11 (Rihanna) cost me £645 in January and since then she has cost me:
£20 new tyre
£100 service
£16 battery plug wiring replacement
£80 new exhaust
£150 new windscreen
£420? front crossmember replacement. not yet done
£-- unknown blockage in fuel line/pump. in garage at the moment since thursday!

Before long it will be a new car! trouble is i have gone this far and i want to keep her.

You have my sympathy mate . In the last few months mines cost:

£108 injector
£485 catalytic converter
£150 shock absorbers
£30 droplinks

Plus god knows how many jobs I've forgotten and how much for new tools and stuff. I'm in the same boat as you, I love the car and it's become like a personal challenge to get the bastard working properly!
