Tim Gauge

Bought a TIM ammeter on eBay just to try out for fitment. Not perfect but close. Should look okay when I get the rest in.

Looking good, what other gauges do you have in store for it.
Also :
1. Does that meter draw anything from the battery.
2. Does it turn on when the ignition is turned?

Looking to add an oil pressure gauge and either volts or water temp. The ammeter isn't connected yet. No instructions with it and my knowledge of electronics is rudimentary at best, so I'll no doubt need to go begging on here for advice. I understand you can melt your loom if you connect an ammeter wrongly?

No problem at all reading it since I had my cataracts done.

An ammeter is wired in series into a circuit, so it will read whenever there is current running, it doesn't need to be switched on.
But you'll need to make sure your ammeter can take a high current depending, on what your running from the battery.
