replace cd player

Hi my sister has bought a 04 plate micra, the cd player turns on and off when it wants... She has bought a new headunit, something that looks better, can plug mobile into etc. Am not sure how to remove the micra headunit, looking for some advice/units and tips, cheers

I think you have to take most of the dash out to get to it?....

...it's for his old 160SR, with the 6 disc changer, but it should help you figure out how to get the old unit out...I think some modern units should plug and play with the existing wires/connections...but if you do need some kind of adapter (say, from Halfords) double check the connection before fully fitting
(test before all the dash is all back in)
