Removing Sunglass Holder

There's a coin/sunglass holder on top of the center console....

Removing that would leave for a good space to fit a custom-made pod for the light switches.

Any idea how to remove the sunglass holder? I can't find screws holding it in...

i,m guessing (having not owned a facelift) you would have to remove the dash to get that off M, there will nodoubt be loads of ducting underneath it tho

Hummmm... that's more effort than I want!

No issues with ducting underneath, just need enough space to pass a few wires

Here's my prototype... to be honest, starting to thing it's more effort than I need... I can probably get away with only 2 switches, and putting one in the spare slot to the left of the steering and one in the right slot...

On the other hand, a set of aircraft switches could be quite fun to have; even if they just control the lights!
