rear window washer

hi all, i have a k11 m reg 1.3 problem is my rear window washer has stopped working, the front ones are fine thofwn

when u try the rear washer can you hear the pump working?

have you checked the fuses?

no i havent, i just assumed the front and rear ran off the same fuse?

im not sure tbh, most cars have 2 pumps, 1 front, 1 rear and if the front works and sprays water fine and you definitly cant even hear the motor pumping noise when u push the rear switch the fuse seems the most likley item to check , have a look, check that first

but you will find in the recent cold snap the 'freeze that action' has a nasty habbit of damaging washer pumps and connections in the washer jet hoses if u havnt been using proper screenwash with the anti freeze additive
