Odd knock

Ok so after some experiences advice.

My partners car has recently started making a strange knocking noise from the passengers front. I Have had the car in the air and done the usual Jeremy clarkson banging - everything is nice and tight!!! Bar one thing..... The driveshaft.

Now it has a little all round play in it (not from Hub to box thankfully!) and the gaitors and bushes look good

What say you mr internet?

depends when the knocking is really, does it knock on full lock ? or power on/off ? or rough ground ?

Usually when steering. Doesn't have to be full lock can be just sitting too
