no eml light ? 93 1.0 lx

hey peeps, as some of you may have read, i just bought a cheap runaround for the mrs after someone arse ended her 1.3 si.

its a 93 L 1.0 lx 5door. i took the clocks out to change a few blown bulbs and noticed there is no eml ? i've gone over it 3 times with the torch looking for it but it doesn't seem to have one ? the engine runs sweet and is in top condition for the year so i cant see why anyone would need to blank it off.

is it a simple case of it being an early k11 and thus didnt have one or am i missing more than the eml ? :suspect:

the early models only have the tiny led on the side of the ecu mike

right ok thanks buddy, so i'm guess if there was ever a problem you'd need to strip out the plastics under the stereo to check the led on the ecu?
