MA10 v K10

Hi, just discovered my engine is a MA10, what's the difference between the two?

you dont mean the MA10 (1 litre) and the MA12 (1.2 litre) do you? there is a very good thread about the two if you search

Its a MA10 block! This is out of a hovercraft not a car!!!!

the MA10 is the name of the engine, signifying its a 1.0l, the k10 is the model code of the original micra, (k10/11/12)

if its from a hovercraft, lets see!

as above ma10 is an engine code, and indicates 1 litre, and k10 is a chassis type, k10 being the older boxy type (the best ones imo)
