Is my fuel pump on its last legs?

Driving home tonight thinking I got away lightly with the mot, sitting at 70 ish, car just lost all power, dropped down a few gears thinking it was gonna die, coughed a bit, ran on three cylinders for a bit, picked up again. Had two injectors blocked before, so I know what that feels like, to me it felt as if I had starved it of fuel. It's a facelift 1ltr at about 65800. What you lot reckon then?

Check the fuel pressure when you prime it.

Misfire perhaps ?
