as some off you may have read i had trouble with my car with it not starting no dash or wipers ive been told its the ecu but have also done a test on the battery and its flat as a pan cake but when i had it on jump leads and put fuel in the carb it did start so my battery must still be working just flat???

AH (!) that may explain a lot of your problems. Just because it started does not mean the battery is OK.
I would take it to a battery/tyre/garage, have it tested under load, that'll tell you if it's putting out enough voltage for the car to work properly.
