Handbrake adjustment

Have trawled posts but bit found an answe

Just need to know how to tighten the handbrake on the 95 k11 please

Done this sort if thing before just not this car

Just remove drum couple of turns and then try it? I think? Or at the lever if your lazy?

Was gonna say removing the drum seems a little extreme......

In other cars I have has to pump the brake does this apply when tightenig at the lever?

Your adjusting the self adjuster, which is wrong, that automatically adjusts as the shoes wear down. If yours aren't automatically adjusting then get em changed or freed up and serviced

The correct way to adjust the handbrake is at the cable. Not sure on a k11 its either a 10mm nut by the handbrake or a threaded clevis adjustment box under the car just in front of the fuel tank

Lift the handbrake surrounds (Few screws) there's a 10mm nut
