Got an electrical problem here.
Ive got an early 2003 K12
The nag light for the open door is on, even though all are perfectly shut.
This only happened when the car was stored for a long period under a tarpaulin
The boot lock works fine, the switch for the lock is fine.
I thought that this issue could be the switch on the lock at the bottom of the tailgate to indicate it was locked so replaced this with an ebay item- it works fine but the problem persists.
The switches for the doors are pretty basic- I had an error code check done- the fault appears to be in some way related to the tailgate.
When I press the lock switch on the centre console this beeps. I have not changed this- could this be the problem?
It seems a bit odd that this occurred following storage?
Has anyone any ideas please?
