Cisco,

I was just wondering if you have had any adverse affects from removing the air-flow blocker plate? I'm thinking about doing it for a bit of extra air flow...

No mate, no problems at all after doing that.
Some people have suggested its there to kind of force air through the radiator by not being able to take that alternate path etc. But I think its more of a protector.

Hmm.. well it is no problem if you just make shure the manifold gets time to cool down a bit before washing the car and what not!
Rain water and other splashes wont do any harm.. So Id say go for it!

Hey Cisco,
Just wondering which car has the T25 turbo? I was planning on taking out my engine and putting a SR20 in, but I'm not sure how much more registration and things like that will cost, so I'm looking for alternatives. Any help would be great

The blocker plate is to stop overheating when stationary. Without the plate, hot air can circulate around the radiator, rather than cooler fresh air being drawn in from the front.

Hi Tsuyoshi,

T25 came on the CA18DET engines. So like an old S13 silvia or some 180sx etc.
