one of our Micra's had its brakes fail yesterday , it seems a handbrake adjuster siezed whilst it was parked up over a week , this caused the offside rear hub to over heat and boil the brake fluid resulting in a total loss of brakes ........ my question is .. should not the split brake circuit...

I have some older Micras , pre 2000 with the Nissin engine management as opposed to the later Bosch ... from what I gather pre 2000 Micra's are not officily recommended to use E10 .... I seem to get the idea that E10 has been used down under for a while and has anyone any issues with earlier...

had to fix the tailgate wiring today on one of the Micra's . The wiper had stopped working as well as the number plate lights . Confirmed it was the wires by opening the tailgate and wiggling the wires , which caused the wiper to work . The wires are located on the right hand side of the car ...

I am after a few pointers on the back brakes as I have one that is binding a little . Its a K11 liter. can the rear drum warp on this car if it overheats ? the handbrake is working and releasing but the drum rubs a bit ... how do I re adjust the pads . I am not sure if they are self adjusting...

thinking or re routing the intake pipe to the filter box so that the pipe sucks warm air from the back of the radiator instead of cold air from behind the headlamp . Idea being that the warm air will force the engine to less fuel ( will it ?) . Anybody else tried this or thinks its worth trying...

Any one know what the resistance of the engine temp sensor should be when it is hot or cold ... I have just measured 1.6K ohm on a hot engine . I am getting some cold running problems , the engine will not pull properly until it has warmed up a bit . Thanks
