wiring problem

i have a wiring prolein my k11,
when i apply my brake my sidelights, dash lights, heater control lights, and radio lights come on as well as my brakelights, and when i turn my sidelights on my 3rd brake light comes on permanently,

i have been told it could be down to a bad earth connection as i recently had a bit of a prank in the car but so far cannot see anything

anyone got any ideas

Have you checked all your earths are secure?

What bulbs are you using in the brake lights? Sounds as if its too high...

i think i have resovled the fault now,
the bulbs have never been changed in the cars lifetime so it couldnt be that,
at first i thought it was the earths yes but after checking this no,
i went to a micra specilist near me in rainham and he said that when i reversed into something i may have crimped some of the wires that run under the lip in the boot i checked this and the cable run had been crimped so i now have to seperate them and insulate them individually
