Hi, I know this is a slightly old thread but can you explain how you managed to fix the blistering?
I have the same problem on my cc and it's making it look ugly.

i went to the scrap yard and got 3 strips of a renault megane 2 door, cut to fit.
its a quick fix, but its garaged. there is a few more blemishes people will notice before the rubbers lol
