Which Oil?

I am new to motoring and have recently purchased a K10. I was just wondering which type of oil I should be using.

I use the Halfrauds stuff that comes in a purple bottle, can't remember exactly what it is. It's described as being designed for older non injected engines...

Aside from that, check the Haynes manual for the specs.

Everyone seems to think that Mobil 1 is the best for micras if I remember correctly.

no, dont bother geting mobile 1 for a micra, theres no point.

If you have a failry lowish mileage one, stick a good quality 10w40 in, and if you have a highish mileage one, stick a good quality 15w40 in.

Liqui Moly 15W40 with MoS2(LEICHTLAUF SUPER MOTOROIL)
is the best choice for old Micras.

Mobil 1 is over kill and sometimes too thing for older K10's
