Where is the best place to get to the fuel pump wire?

i tried to have a look and its the brown wire yeh?
BUT they are all so tigh together it is hard to find it

But thats too far away i need it closer to the dash if possible.

mines just got the green fuelpump relay there guy (by your right foot) and my pump + wire is black/red

when i look in haynes manual it sais its brownfwn

yeh, p/f/l
my old haynes say,s blue/black fwn, autodata say,s black/red and the 2 wires that go through the r/seatbase are black/red and black.
you,re best to lift the cover under the r/seat and check yours really

dunno, there,s a bunch of wires going to the back lights etc, and the 3 for the guage (gr/red, gr/yel, black) so you best do a continuity test first eh (stab 2 of your mum,s sewing pins into the wire :grinning
