What's the location of the NATS unit, 1999 Micra K11 ?

What's the location of the NATS unit, on a 1999 Micra K11.

I stripped out the glove box and the heater assembly but I only found the nissan 28596 9f97 cont unit-keyless box.

I have got the flashing EML light.

You may not have one. The Nats isn't one specific unit on later models. It is an amalgamation of ECU, key chip, and immu, on the steering lock barrel. This is certain for the 2nd facelifts. Maybe a 1st facelift owner can help more.

Oh dear that's not good news.

Does anyone want the car, 85000 miles, MOT February 2017, very nice looking car, it does just not start.

you should only need a £50 ecu kit harrow, there are usually plenty on ebay

Either get a different ECU set as Frank says or ring Fusion Motorsport to see if they can disable it on your ECU.

Looking at what is listed on ebay, the replacement "nissan 28596 9f97 cont unit-keyless box" differs from what's in the car.
If they looked the same I might of given it a go.

The keyless control unit is for the central locking. The Nats is ECU, immu, and key chip.
