Whats everybody getting to the gallon on a 1.3i 16v Auto

Hi all,

I've got a 2000/V Nissan Micra with a 1.3i 16v Auto, and not getting much out of mpg? Especially with this quite cold weather we are having.

Whats mileage is everybody getting from there Micra??

My missus has one, prob's about 30 mpg around town.....40+ on a run - not too bad.

I find if I pump my tyres up I get more. However, I have no PAS or A/C, so I have minimal pulley work for the engine to do, which will give me more MPG over K11's, which have them.

I get about 37 around town without a heavy right foot. On the motorway, I often keep it between 70-75mph & get about 46-50 mpg.

I get about that out of ours. I tend to find the weight of my right foot makes a big difference

I try, but the little bugger just likes "showing up" all those modern heavy weight motors

The highest I ever had from my K11 1.3 conversion was 48mpg.

I seemed to average just 36mpg tho.
