I think its a brace for the brake master cylinder to stop it flexing under hard use...or atleast thats what ive deciphered from "Burekimasutashirindasutoppa!"

that looks like a 4 way block bracket for the breaks but not 100% sure

It bolts to the suspension turret in the engine bay and presses against the master cylinder to reduce how much it moves..
