The final touches. She is clean now. Trying to get the front member back to the right position. Old dear who had the car seemed to like hitting things.

Get the new rimmage and ride height sorted is the main thing - Then I just want to make the car more presentation-worthy. Needs a ruddy good bit of detailing. Thinking of busting out the t-cut.

Oh and I want to have a crack at removing my bump strips if I can find the courage to attempt it.

Just pull them off, I don't know what you're worried about nothing bad will happen :)

You've got a black car how off colour could it be?!? The glue unfortunately that's a byproduct of taking the strips off

well i did say "quite abit", and now there's a critical dilema where it could be turning into possibly "near impossible to finish on time" due to this clearance issue with the new forged engine :(

lol best of luck arnold & Ed :)

after a heart stopping moment of discovering I forgot to tighten the cam spocket bolts which loosened, hit/cracked the engine cover but luckily didn't cause terminal damage  thats all fixed, new engine cover painted luvely red, engine purring nicely, IC pipes insulated. it's pretty much finished for now.
minor things are the tiny rear main seal oil leak, tiny gearbox oil leak, toyos need repainting, oh and need to finally apply the msc sticker I brought from the last JAE lol

camping gear - ready, dvd player with charger/battery & inverter & compiled videos & photos which I'll be placing in the window - ready, spare clothes n undies - ready :p

starting my annual 2week roadtrip nxt week, down to wales, devon, london, scotland, over to isle of man and then ending at JAE

i hope the jae tickets arrive at home in time, I'll be returning home on thurs beforehand.
what do I do if the tickets hasn't arrived?
