Fitted nearside track rod end to the k13. The new one is a Moog bought from fleabay, bought two, but the boxes came with broken seals and they look thinner than the originals. I wonder if they are fakes.

Fitted offside track rod end to the K13. Noticed a brake disc pad was not touching the whole disc, rusty where it should have been touching. So will need to service the brakes before the MOT next week. New control arms, tie rod ends, new front tyre, new wipers, new discs and pads, brake fluid flush, should do well in its MOT.

Bloody center brake pipes needed replacing for MOT.

Did a total rebuild of fronts and rears last Summer, the lot .... clearly working too well and the pressure blew the center pipe literally when I arrived at the MOT center! Arghhhh.

Also after 2 years with no welding, corner rear inner sill needed doing.

Mind you, on what car can you do a total rebuild of every front end braking component for under £99? And most of that that came off was ok ish ... most original factory stuff from 95!

New wipers later week, the squeak and drag is driving me mad. Any recommendations for a decent wiper rubber? These been on maybe 2 years and noisy as hell.

Nothing huge, but I stuck a new mini-amp into the car. It very satisfyingly fits directly under the central dash and connects between the cars audio cables and stereo. Super easy to install and hide away, and pumps out 65w rms to 4 speakers :D

Got and underseat sub-woofer to install as well and I'm getting worried about the 25 year old alternator :|

A bit of clay bar decontamination and a coat of Wax. Plus Carbon fibred effect roof wrap. Took a week to get the old roof wrap and thick gunge of the roof using Carb Cleaner, wet&dry and a lot of elbow grease. But worth the effort. I would like to introduce myself as a new member to this amazing club, and your lovely Members. (Could not find any forums for new member intro's)

I got very lucky and found a performance exhaust manifold for £30. Its from the Cube Z10 Alpha, only released in Japan around 2000 I think so super super rare!!!

That with the Almera airbox and an exhuast system off a 1.0 litre model, Nissandra is sounding and feeling very zoomy :D

For comparison - Z10 on the left, stock on the right.
Hi
You dont have more pics of the cube manifold and tube lengths? Please
Im making one atm

Sorry! Just that one at the moment. I'm poking around on the car tomorrow so I can try and take some more and do some very VERY rough measurements!

Also clicked 94k on Wednesday to Thursday did the oil and filter
Since it was neglected its recent years did a full service at 86,900 and about 90k did dropped the oil
So gonna cut the filter up to see , the tensioners were clogged up , but not really build up in the engine
Still get intermiting timming rattle/ noise , nothing to worry ,

Nothing exciting going on at the moment.
Just replaced 4 tyres with 165/60x14 Nexen NBlue HD Plus the current ones were 10 years old and starting to perish.
I have found Nexens to be good all round on other vehicles as well.

Decided to replace the drive belts today. PAS no Aircon!
Belt no. 4PK725 pas pump/water
6PK673 alternator belt.
The PAS belt is awkward to reach even from underneath. After loosening the 2 lower pump bolts there is a 12mm lock bolt further up. Once this is loosened there is a 12mm tensioning bolt you unscrew to remove the belt. (Similar setup to the alternator).
This model K11 1.0 2002 does not have idler pulleys.
Photos below for belt reference.

Anyway all done. Rust proofing next.
