what did you do to your micra today ?

Welded a bolt to my jack, now I can speed raise/lower with the wizzy gun!

Wdid? Stopped the exhaust knocking. With a crowbar...
Also fitted a new/2nd hand radio, gained a free cd from it, then put my old one back cause it was better :p.

Yep from that one on eBay. It's the 1.5 cherry turbo one from YouTube. I saw it for sale with knocking engine so many times. Then last week was saying how i was gonna built it myself

This is better :p

Cleaned up the gearbox parts, tried several places to find the right bits I need (and failed, nissan dealerships are useless!) and tried on my coilovers, although now i'm not sure..

Had half hour spare earlier and I've got a bit fed up of oil vapor from the breather on the rocker cover which collects inside the filter and drips down the back of the engine, so I decided to make an oil catch tank.....

Take one old argon gas bottle and chop the end off

Chop it down to size

Weld on a inlet and vent

Will have to sort through my fittings to find appropriate elbows for a view/level glass then I can weld the top back on.

Wdid? Discovered that Matt Ronson (on facebook, mr weightman knows him...) also has a red micra called nigel... Humph!
His is k12 though...
Also he lives in hull where i went to uni so ive probably seen it hanging out in tescos with the rest of the modded cars round there :p bloomin copycat!

Wdidt? Narrowly missed a BMW after very sleepily moving the car and forgetting I'd adjusted the clutch... Oops!
Also got fed up of Google freezing on every msc page I open so switched to FireFox. Finally I can browse this forum on my pc again! (been relying mostly on my phone for weeks...)

After 20,000 miles and 3 years ownership my K10 went to the scrappies for £100 :(
fantastic little car that was so good i kept it for much longer than i needed to.

ill just have to make do with my spotless 2002 suzuki baleno gsr now ;) :D

Put my car into a bodyshop to get the front and rear bumpers sprayed, went to pick it up today to find theyve only sprayed the top half of my front bumper, sprayed the rear properly, scratched my bonnet on both sides and managed to crack my manifold round the welds. Not happy...

Sprayed and Fitted my little spoiler (satin black)

A nice look I think
Maybe next I will remove the door mouldings .
Just to ask ,are the mouldings just stuck on or do they also have clips of some sort?

nice wheels dude :) spoiler looks pretty good

oh and if you mean the side bumpstrips theyre just glued on, its not fun to get it off though...

WDIDT ? fitted my spare K10 long shaft (the green one infront) one of the shafts has started to faintly rumble, time will tell which one it is
just had to remove the shaftnut and upper hub bolt and fire it onto full lock :)

Ive phoned the boss and left him a message to phone me back, looks like theyve scratched the bonnet keyed it back slightly to paint it and just left it and with the manifold I think they have bottomed it out going into the yard (I managed to get out perfectly fine) the guy who owns the place is one of the soundest lads going but most of the guys who work for him are complete a##holes

Ive done all the work so far myself but thought id be best to give it to a "specialist". Of what they have sprayed they have made a good job of but as long as they sort thier mistakes ill be happy

Kinda get to you don't they. Bought mine as a cheap runaround for a couple of months and had it over 2 years. :D Still miss it now though :(

Sorry, got carried away with the pics  Lovely day in Sheffield, I didn't even have to spray the wheels in the living room :D

Blimey Ade...They are properly white!...it's like that Bleach advert BLINDING! LOL
...in a good way though...they look great ;)

Thanks Jen ;) The last time I sprayed some wheels white it was more of an off white so I wanted a brighter white this time.....think I achieved my aim..and then some!

WDIDT?..well a couple of weeks ago I finally changed the other rear quarter interior trim that had been scratched by the previous owner
...but I forgot that the foam I'd stuck on...wasn't there any more (My parcel shelf is annoyingly rattly)
so I put some new foam pads on the parcel shelf support and on the bump stop meeting point (where the hatch lid comes down and the rubber things hit the metal)

...no more annoying rattle! ^_^
