Funny enough, according to what I have read in the Norwegian MOT descriptions about rust.. this isn't necessarily a fail.. only enough for an advisory. We shall see.

shame, how much you after for them? i just got a set the same as them, polo wheels banded to 8s, may be interested in these to stagger a set
 
Viggo got some high quality audio. never ever had a decent sound system before ever, no silly subs just good quality CD player and speakers, not loud but so so gooooood.
 
atempted to remove the side bum strips but can seem to get the last of the glue off :/ washed it aand polished it :) give the inside a clean since it hasnt been done since i removed the rear seats
 
get to your local paint supplier and get a stripe remover, also known as a toffee wheel, bout £6, will stop your thumbs bleeding. gets glue off a treat without damaging the paint

ill have to go get one when i get some cash :) doesnt look too bad cause av got most of the foam off its just the sticky bit left on

on the subject of the 4wd k11's does anyone know if they did a manual version? the only ones ive seen are auto and right now doing a manual conversion is a bit beyond me... Just wondered what people know as i kinda want one...

today though? took nigel the nissan to macdonalds :D omnomnom!

Gotcha...be good to see how you feel the engine has changed after its all plumbed in.

Im still looking at the front on mine to work out how to get an intercooler, sr20 maf, air filter, recirc valve and all the pipework into the tiny area on the crossmember. I think its doable but if you's thought the front was tight for space before, wait til you's see it afterwards lol.

All this just to run a bigger throttle body, certainly seemed like a good idea at the time :rolleyes: ...it just better be worth it lol.

took mavis to the seaside :) (inlaw,s wedding in paignton 186 miles x 2)
gobsmacked by the fuel milage :eek: brimmed it in tamworth last night and then brimmed it when we got to paignton (200 miles) £21 something.
then brimmed it again just, near home (186 miles) £19.42 (14.61 L)

hehe, that was getting harder and harder when i was using veg oil, big companies always get in there.

dont be tempted guy, its a common rail eh so wont work :( you might be able to use biodiesel though, worth researching..
 
i work in a diesel specialist garage and we find people that try and use biio diesel sometimes have problems all the components have tolerances that fine it takes nothing to clog or break injectors or pumps
 
ha, ha, I know that. Veggie oil's great for old Pugs, volvos and land rovers but not modern common rails :).

Good point Tchaaa, I'll go and have a quick Google about that one. Cheers Frank :). Feels a bit like a boat at the mo', I've gone from 50 profile tyres on hard, sporty springs to 70 profile on normal springs :eek:. Plenty of lowering springs available though :D.

Just been out and fitted my Pioneer HU and sat nav cable into the new motor. I've put my single-DIN Nissan HU from the new car in the SR or George would have been left with the knackered Nissan CD changer in the double-DIN surround.

Bet that must be comfortable though, friend of mine has just bought a brand new near-base spec Corsa, with soft spongy suspension and huge-profile tyres. We have a set of speedbumps going out of where I go to college, and when we take them in the micra it's usually *BANG* *BANG* but in the corsa was like a slight hop, I guess I'd gotten used to the Sport+ over time!

EDIT: Believe you put some on your thread about buying this which looked kinda silver-ish, I think they'd look ace.
 
Having Googled a bit further, silver Grids would look awesome. They'd set off the silver in the trim and headlight...
