Washer Problem

I’ve just bought an 09 micra and have a problem with the windscreen washer. Basically when I try to wash the windscreen it washes the rear window! The rear washer works fine!

anyone encountered anything like this before or able to shed any light?

The jets blocked? or the tubes that feed the wash liquid to the jets? you could try to clear the jets out with a long pin of some sort and or remove the tubes and see if they are blocked.

Thanks mate. That was my first thought too so I checked the jets and they’re clear. The pump works as the water goes to the rear. I think it might be the stalk on the steering wheel

So when you pull the switch towards you there is no sound of the pump?

Might be the the switch playing up, Fuse. If front and rear run separate from one another. I would imagine that they do but not 100% sure about that.
Definitely check the fuse.

Here is some info showing fuse numbers you may want to check out.
If this is not the wiper washer stalk switch that is causing the pump not to send to front washers.
