Uprated Brakes

Right people, i have a budget of 100 quid for front discs and pads! Im looking at keeping the standard sized, but havin kewl looking grooved discs, just to add some style! Worth it?

Anyone else done it?

For £100 you should be able to buy some Gti-r discs, pads, calipers and carriers. Overkill but its fun

sunny vented disks and calipers are also a huge improvement, if you can find some cheap calipers and carriers (new disks are cheap)

have a look on the pulsar owners club's web site to see if any one are selling off old calipers they've upgraded

how easy are these to fit then?

There is guide showing you how to change the brake, its easy. Will need new brake fluid and some M10 spacers from Homebase as well.

ell, i went simple, uprated ebc grooved discs on the front, 35.99 at work, 25% dioscount for me!

are grooved k11 disks better than sunny vented?
