Upgrade my micra

Hi I own a 00 1.0 micra and want to do some upgrades. I want the suspension to be a lot stiffer as I can't stand the "boatyness" of it so was thinking of lowering springs looking at apex 30mm lowering springs for £100 and was thinking of polly bushing the thing (polly bush not my highest priority), then was going to do some quick power mods, looks good at a ram air air filter to mount straight onto throttle body with a cold air feed and maybe look for a 4-2-1 manifold and exhaust system any suggestions thoughts or so would be nice bit I don't want to upgrade to the 1.3
Many thanks
Jack

Your best bet is to look through some people's blogs and get an idea of what you want to do in terms of power.
30mm springs will give you more stiffness, you'll be disappointed visually however. £100 is way too much. My 40mm springs cost £40 in good nick. Hunt around before making any decisions. :)

You'd be better off looking at some intake designs people have.

A filter on top of the TB isn't the best placement.

If you're after ACTUAL gains, GA16 air box has been known to help rather than hinder

Alright thanks people I only wanted to put a filter on to with cold air because I live in Wales and don't really want a wet filter and yes clods I know it's not that much of a bhp gain I am an apprentice but 50% of something is better than 50% of nothing

I think what people are trying to say is you're probably going to lose power rather than gain any. If you just want it for induction noise .. Go for it.
