Update on the insurance - Glanza

vinigar in wound allert.

my insurance through tesco at 23 with 2 years no claims is only £340.....

All mods declared? Tesco's told me they wouldnt cover many/any mods other than alloys? and wanted a stupid price for them....

Is that fully comp?

yep.

i may have slightly bent the rules....

the mods are....
exhaust replaced,
alloy wheels,
new brakes
some engine parts.

this is true..lol
just not specifics.

Then imo you are uninsured as the engine parts are obviously performance enhancing, along with non-standard brakes, and exhaust (i.e. not oem items).

i have claimed since these were declared, and havent had a problem.

if they dont ask, dont tell...

allthough i have had a newer quote (quite a bit lower actualy) for renewal....

and im not gonna crash it on my drive way with no engine now am i?..lol

£340 is good! :upside:

I'm gonna ring up Tesco tomorrow and see what they quote me.....should be good for a laugh :grinning:

Can of worms that one I'm afraid. I seriously would not recommend not declaring your mods...

but im not actualy lieing now am i?

they asked if there was any modifications..

yes, wheels, brakes, a new exhaust and some emgine parts renewed...

thats the truth......

the parts arent insured (other than the wheels) so they didnt ask me for specifics...

hey im no insurance man..lol:laugh:

kev that is ridiculous! i insured my s14 back in september, with stage 1 spec, fully comp, at 21 with 4yrs ncb, for just over £300. And thats a much more powerful and dangerous car than the Glanza. Must be your area mate, seriously. Thats one of the biggest deciders. You going for business use too mebbe?

well I've just got a quote on my new Mondeo. It's practically the same cost as my modified Micra. Although the Mondeo has a 2.5l V6 as is group 16 Insurance. That's a bit of a joke in it!!!

correct

it's this bad boy
