Tried replacing ECU, immobiliser fine, feel like I've tried everything!

Hoping someone might have an idea about how to progress from here.

We bought our Micra dci 2004 last year, and the seller said it had an immobiliser fault - indeed, the key symbol was lit on the dash.

We took the immobiliser out and sent it away to specialists, but they returned it saying it was fine.

We tried a cam sensor, but nothing.

Then we took it to Nissan, but they said their machine couldn't communicate with the ECU. This morning we put an ECU, lockset and body management doobrey in it and STILL nothing!

It just turns once, then dies.

If anyone has anything to suggest, please do - the end of my tether is nigh...
 
I had a immobiliser problem similar to what you have described. Try what i did. Put key into the acc possition and find yourself a half hour job,near the car so its not unattended,after half hour,turn key to off,and then try to start the car. Hope that solves yours too.
I have a key light that comes on after engine been running for 10 mins,but thats from changing the clocks without disconnecting the battery first lol.

Did you replace the ecu or same ecu? Coz i had replaced new ecu and had immobiliser fault and wont start just cranks
 
I haven't replaced ecu or immobiliser,only nats part I've changed is the combimeter. If ecu and immobiliser are changed,the keys,steering column and combimeter will need reprogramming to the replacement ecu and immobiliser.
