Torque Setting for wheelnut

lol in the K10 section asking about the K11 and Guy mentions the K12. :p

but i believe you are right guy... i always torque wrench 'em to just above the max on the shoddy halfords wrench i have which is 65

i just done a k11 engine, flywheel, clutch, power steering- install single handed,
used common sense , how tight they were removing they went back on
going inside the engine i would recomend toque wrench. ( i dont go inside engine )
dont overtight wheel nuts

One tip though always do the wheel nuts up with the wheel wrench you keep in the car, that way you know they will come undone at the roadside when you get a puncture (Y)

Wheel nuts rarely need torqueing cos they self tighten! Just nice and tight applying equal force all round lll

one of my lock nuts flew off at dual carriage speed , should of got mary popins to do that self tightnin for me:grinning:
