Throttle body hat trick

I feel im going mad.....in the past week ive gone thru 3 throttle bodies....all appeare to fail on me....usual signs like hesitant revs and cutting out when stationary and lurching foward when throttle is pressed hard.

All came off my working cars in the yard.


Am I just having bad luck or is it perhaps somthing else?

I dont have a soldering iron or time to repair units so if anyone can shed some ideas that will be great or sell me a 100% working unit please

Well thing is when I fitted the first replacment it seemed to fail after first drive then the 2nd unit lasted 3/4 days???

Would it be the maf sensor plug the connecter to the circuit board? I had a crack in one on my old silver march look a like n it caused them to fail so I could check it over

my blue k11 was doing it at one time jas, and i re-soldered it and it was ok for a couple of days then it did the same ?? so i tried another t/b and that played up too.
so i cleaned the pinouts on the connector and it cured it

Ive sprayed all the connectors 2/3 times with electrical cleaner.....do I need to do more frank?

i poked a jet cleaner/needle thingy down mine mate, so dunno

Think il buy another unit from a ebay seller with 30 days warranty so if it fails I can get a replacement......sucha pain in the bottom

For non turbo, I doubt it's going to yield any gains worth mentioning, especially not for the cost of nistune and a remap!
