i need a new throttle body, but i dont have alot of money and cant live wivout the car!
do u think i could i get 1 from a scrapyard for about 50ish?
or would i have to spend loads of money i dont have!

go scrappy and ask how much they want for one...
you might end up doing the 1.6tb conversion as it usualy works out cheaper than a new recon unit... :S

yes fort of doing that but it would run lean if i didnt put a 1.6 ecu on.

but bin told it might not run lean as its multi-point injection

It WILL run lean, you then have to increase your fuel mixture to compensate...

If you want to richen the mixture get a hks afr or apexi s-afc. Basic hks afr is about £70.
Your better off taking off the metal panel on the side of the tb and soldering the pins inside. Over time the solder cracks and gives bad/no connection.
