Super Turbo engine air flowdigras or info please

Im doing a bit of thinking about Twin Charging but can't really find much on how the MA09ERT has the supercharger and turbo arranged, iv heard people talk about having the super charged air flow through the turbo, however surely this would obstruct the the supercharger flow making it work harder there fore being less efficient.

If anyone has any info (diagrams would be awesome) or thoughts on the matter please fire away

Any help or info is muchly appreciated

doesnt it only flow through the turbo on the change between the charger and the turbo through the bypass valve? complete guess?

cheers

Thanks for the input guys (Y)

Ed -- Top diagram that :)

So the supercharger runs full time and has super charger and turbo running simultanously? or does it have a electromagnetic clutch like the Toyota GZE engine to turn the supercharger off once the turbo is up to boost and save engine losses from powering the supercharger?

Comes on from 0-4000rpm and supplys 0.7-0.9bar
and then the electromagnetic clutch disengage ,the bypass valve opens and allows 0.9bar through.
2psi would do nothing to help

By the time the turbo is on boost the valve has also opened due to its actuators, the slight judder they sometimes do is the transition between sc/turbo.

so for those of you who have stuck a switch on the supercharger, is there any way to let some of that blocked off turbo boost through when sticking it up a hill in say 4th gear

surely there is more than 2psi available at 3500rpm at high load in 3rd or 4th?
