Sump gasket

Hi guys does anyone know how hard it is to replace leaky sump gasket? Do I really need to remove exhaust?

it just sealant and 2 rubber seals (over the crank bearings) and yes or else drop the downpipe down a few inches

Doh that's a pain cos the bolts look properly welded into the down pipe! It looks like there's enough clearance though

there would be clearance if the oil pickup pipe was,nt there

Awesome thanks guys! So is the only way to take te rusty welded on spring bolts out?
