You can't run a polo rear coilover setup without a adjustable panhard rod mate, if I were you I'd swap back to standard setup before you drive it til you get one

I have 60 profile tires and that takes most of the harshness out of my ride comfort... if you're on stretched tyres that'll make ride harsh

na im not on stretched tires. ill get ordering one on dayday then. just less holiday spending money :(

edit: surly its ok for like a week tho until i get paid. i havnt got the energy to change everythinggg over yet again

Rubbing tires still makes it too dangerous to drive imo. You could knock the arch lip in with a hammer to give a bit more clearance but it's a bodge.

Go for massive rake til then, only problem is the inertia bobbin in the seat belts locks up the belt and makes it VERY hard to pull the belts out haha

whos idea was it to make coilies sooo stiff -.- doing my head right in now. was actually considering just selling the micra and getting a corsa. dont wana spend even more moneyy on a little micra just for comfy lows. spent too much as it is.

Coilies mean you drive slow everywhere :)

Keep calm and embrace the stiff ride ;)

They were designed for a different car, if you want a comfy low ride you're best off doing it properly

Everytime you hit the slightest little bump. Not even a pothole its just a BANG. I can't even relax driving. All I think is like ****! What was that noise ;)

Mine aren't bad either, you just seem to have bought really stiff coilies. That or somethings wrong with your car... Since you were saying alto etc didn't even lower it.

mine are massivly bad. on a normal road i can cope with them. just when you hit some little pot holes and lumps

Putting on stiffer springs and shocks will make the ride stiffer mate, that's why they are higher standard, can use softer springs.

Get the fattest person you know hit him over the head with a hammer, tie him up and stuff him in your boot and leave hi there trust me that will be low!

Disclaimer: no fat people were harmed in the making of the lowered Micra. Also we do not condone kidnap or violence.
