Stereo wiring, identification

Hello
My Micra is from 87, and the color of the wiring by the head-unit is not as in others cars on this site...
I have bought the Haynes, but it is jet to arrive!

I think the brown is ignition, the red with white stripe is constant.
Is this correct? And which is ground and power antenna?

I measured and i could'nt find a constant. The brown was ignition and the black was earth. The black with yellow stripe and the red did not do much...
I think I have to tap in to a source for constant power... (Couse the stereo does not remember anything!)
Any tips from where?

Four wires on the left of the plug in your first photo
Red+white - illumination
Brown - 12v ignition
Black+yellow - ground
Black - ground

Four wires on the right of your first photo is for speakers.

What is missing is a 12v constant. My guess is the original radio had a mechanical tuning knob, not needing to save radio station frequencies.

My facelift k10 loom has a green and orange wire from the battery to the stereo which is 15a fused. If that helps atal

Thank you - you are a God.

Here is what mine looks like below. I read in the manual the black/red is the 12V so I connected that to the red wire on my new stereo (ignition wire as stated in instructions) but it wasn’t working. I thought black was ground so I connected that to my Earth on my new stereo too. Have I got it completely wrong?

I must admit I tried a few different combos.

Looks like you've got the orange and green constant buddy so that goes to the yellow from the back of your CD player (if it's yellow) it's usually yellow on the universally coloured iso harnesses

Black and red is likely to be for a speaker, as is the thinner blue wire.

The thicker blue wire is the 12v ignition

Black is ground, so is the black and yellow.

Thank you so much for this info. Just to confirm the black ground wire from the stereo connects to the black/yellow, just black or both?

Cheers
