Recently sold our 3 door 2006 1.2S K12 and now have a 2009 1.2 Visia K12 (which is in better condition)
The steering wheel was in fairly poor condition though as seems typically the case with Micra's so I bought one of those £15 stitched leather covers off Ebay and it's done the job quite nicely I think. I specifically went for black thread as I do think coloured thread would be too difficult to do and still look good, I'm glad I went for black.
It too me about 2 hours I guess, taking my time and tightening the ends, it's a bit fiddly but worth the effort overall I think.
Last thing I wanted to confirm is around the speaker wires for the rear doors. Have read around the forum am I correct in thinking the wires terminate behind the B pillar plastics. So I just need to take that off, cut the wires and then feed some speaker wire into the doors?
