Stand Alone ECUs

Does anyone have experience running a Haltech Sprint 500 on a CGA3DE engine. I know most people go for omex but my local tuner doesnt have experience with them. I have been told it should work no bother. The car will be getting turboed after the ecu is up and running.

Not used haltech, mine runs on megasquirt.

Only thing to check is that the map sensor is capable of taking boost.

Tornado Systems in Shropshire are the only people I know of with direct experience with the Motronic M4.6 used on the coil pack engines.

If you're going to turbo, standalone is a good choice. It's really about overall support and having hardware, tuner and knowledge support.

The problem is I am up in Scotland. There isnt many garages up here with experience in micra ecus. I think standalone is my best option.
