Well i convinced the old boy to buy a emissions tester so i can play around with mapping to see how it affects it and managed to get the following

Was speaking to stani and he had the idea to rescale the injectors as the cars runningn lean to bring the lambda into line

The car now passes the fast idle test thanks to a few tweaks on nistune

well I bought a P10 egt non nats Ecu off of eBay and swapped the pins on this and it ran great.

I then pulled the loom apart and found the Lambda wiring and got that all wired back in as I had cut it off by accident before.

After tidying everything up in the engine bay and making sure the radiator fan was working properly I can happily say the cars emissions are great now

co = 0.21%
HC = 44ppm
lambda = 1.020

so there is a few things left to tidy up for the MOT then it should fly through!

Got the emissions sorted and all perfect for a mot and decided naaah time for boost so it begins.

pulled the engine apart to start fitting my new pistons and rods.

You can't. The gtir block will only fit the gtir box.
You'll need a fwd sr20 block and use all the pulsar internals...
